JUDGE KEVIN T. MILES
Judge Kevin T. Miles began the practice of law in 1999 and was appointed as an Assistant Clermont County Prosecuting Attorney in 2000. From 2000 to 2002, he worked exclusively in Municipal Court as a prosecuting attorney handling all aspect of misdemeanor cases and jury trials. In 2002, Judge Miles was promoted to the Felony division of the Prosecutor’s Office, where he successfully tried many felony trials. In 2007, Judge Miles was promoted to supervisor in the Felony Division. In this position, he was responsible for handling many high-profile cases along with the most serious offenses under Ohio law. In January 2013, Judge Miles became the Chief Assistant Prosecuting Attorney and head of the criminal division of the Prosecutor’s Office. In 2013, Judge Miles received the appointment by the Governor to serve as a Judge for the Clermont County Municipal Court. Judge Miles was later elected in 2013 to serve the balance of that term. Judge Miles was then re-elected in 2015 and 2021. Judge Miles has served as the Presiding and Administrative Judge in Municipal Court. Judge Miles served as Judge of the OVI Court Specialized Docket from 2016 to 2019 in Municipal Court. In 2022, Judge Miles received the appointment by the Governor to serve as Judge for the Clermont County Common Pleas Court. Judge Miles was later elected in 2022 and again in 2024. Judge Miles has been elected to serve as the Presiding Judge, by judges from all divisions of the Clermont County Common Pleas Court System.
