SCHEDULE OF LEGAL HOLIDAYS FOR 2023

Mediation is a guided discussion process where a trained neutral mediator works with the parties and attorneys in a pending case to settle the matter before trial. The Clermont County Common Pleas Court uses mediation extensively to help litigants resolve cases more quickly and efficiently, and with less expense and risk than going to trial. There is no extra cost to the participants as the Court Mediators are full time court employees. For additional details, please consult the Mediation FAQs on this web site.

NOTICE REGARDING COURT MEDIATION

Effective April 23, 2021, court ordered mediations will be conducted in person in the Courthouse with appropriate safety protocols in effect. Mediation by Zoom or other electronic means will only be permitted in special circumstances and with prior approval of the Assigned Judge. The Mediation Conference Room is sanitized on a regular basis and is large enough for social distancing. Please direct any questions you have on your particular case to the Court Mediator.
